Microsoft Confirms Delay of Windows Phone 7 Copy & Paste Update
Delay of Windows Phone 7 copy and paste update has been confirmed by Microsoft Finance. This brought in some sort of a mess up for this global giant. There was an initial confusion among various divisions as to the exact date of launch of Widows Phone 7 Update. It took just a day or two to clear this confusion and Microsoft has confirmed shipment of WP 7 update in the latter half of March. According to initial reports, deliveries were planned during the March first half. Information of delayed shipments is available on official Windows blog site.
It was further stated in this blog, that this delay would have no effect on the dates of shipments of subsequent updates. This also includes updates of HTML 5 support, Internet Explorer 9 announced in the last Mobile World Congress. But the fact remains, Microsoft has not yet disclosed shipment dates of their various updates.
