Now Enjoy 3G Services from Idea Cellular in Uttar Pradesh
Good news from Idea Cellular! The company has extended its 3G services to Uttar Pradesh (East) circle. This is one of the most populous states of India. In the first phase, people living in the six towns of Uttar Pradesh, namely, Lucknow, Jhansi, Azamgarh, Kanpur, Sitapur and Allahabad, will be able to enjoy the company’s 3G services.
Uttar Pradesh (East) is considered to be one of the biggest telecom circles in India with about 60 million customers. As far as Uttar Pradesh (West) is concerned, the company has already launched its 3G services here.
With Idea’s 3G services, subscribers can watch videos on YouTube, download movies and songs, watch mobile TV, post blogs, view photos, send emails with attachments, and so on.
According to the company, Idea 3G will offer up to 21 Mbps of speed on 3G handsets and even higher than this on other devices based on the capability of the device.
As stated by Idea chief operating officer Lakshminarayana, 87 towns in Uttar Pradesh (East) will be covered by 3G network by March 2012.
