Samsung has announced the launch of Galaxy Pro, a low end Android mobile phone with BlackBerry form factor capability. Three, the British cellular company that has unveiled this model, has targeted enterprise users for this basic level Android Smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Pro is featured by a touch screen display of 2.8 inches, 3 megapixel camera, and HSDPA (high speed download packet access). Loaded with Android 2.2 or Froyo, this smartphone has a BlackBerry type QWERTY keypad and form factor. Andriod 2.2 gives access to more than 200,000 applications.

Galaxy Pro keypad, similar to Nokia devices has the letters arranged in columns instead of staggered arrangement in a normal keyboard. This might be a handicap for some users. An outstanding feature of Galaxy Pro is its convertibility to a Wi- i portable hotspot at a button touch. This enables you to remain connected with the Internet continuously. Samsung’s Social Hub Premium is an interesting feature which allows you to manage your social commitments.
